The Mastro’s and the congregation of JOY COMMUNITY CHURCH invite you to come and, “taste and see that the LORD is good.” The Lord’s presence is rich and the anointed preaching of the Word will stimulate you to an exciting walk in the Lord.
What is grace? Very simply, grace is getting what we don’t deserve. It is unmerited favor. Paul the Apostle understood as many of us do, what grace is. Paul persecuted Christians. He hailed them off to prison and cast his vote for their death because of their faith in a Jesus he had not yet come to know. But in mercy and grace the Lord Jesus met him, gave him a revelation of Himself and turned him around until he became a great Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ.
How could the grace of God be made available to unworthy sinners? The answer to that is THE CROSS! The cross of Jesus Christ was God’s altar upon which the Son of God, the Lamb of God would lay down his life willingly to take upon Himself the debt of the sin of mankind. We, who were onDeath Row, were set free by the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross. He took our place and now we are set free.
Now, the call of the Holy Spirit to all men is: Whosoever will, let them come and drink of the water of life freely. Why? Because Jesus has opened the way to the throne of God. It is a throne of mercy, the way paved and paid for by Jesus Christ the Lamb of God. He loved us so much He gave His life for ours.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3.16.
Pray this prayer now: Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Take away my sin. I believe you are the Son of God. I believe you died on the cross for me. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. I will trust your enabling grace and the Holy Spirit to live my life for your glory. Amen!
